Wellington Rugby Football Union has today announced Wellington-based Rambler Coachlines as the naming rights sponsor for the Premier 2 Grade of Wellington Club Rugby.

As a part of the partnership, Rambler Coachlines will become the preferred supplier to Wellington Rugby Football Union for bus and coach travel.

Rambler Coachlines Managing Director, James Ford-Hathaway, said he was thrilled to partner with Wellington Rugby Football Union, with the partnership a further opportunity to support the local rugby community.

“Rambler Coachlines has been involved with Wellington Rugby and the various clubs across the region for a number of years now, and we see this partnership with Wellington Rugby as an extension of the support we have provided to many groups to date.

“Having our name associated with the premier 2 Senior Mens’ Competition will allow us to further promote our ever-increasing business capabilities, from small to large coaches, buses for day trips and the transport arrangements for large groups, across the country.

“We are continuing to build on the successful Rambler business that is still locally owned and operated,” said Ford-Hathaway.

Wellington Rugby Football Union CEO, Shannon Paku, said he was pleased to welcome Rambler Coachlines to the Union.

“This partnership formalises a long-standing relationship between Wellington Rugby and Rambler Coachlines, and we look forward to working with James and his team to continue to provide a quality service to our rugby whānau.

“We encourage people to reach out to Rambler Coachlines and support this growing local business who are working hard to expand their fleet with more vehicles in the near future,” said Paku.
