Raising money for Junior Rugby & Wellington Children's Hospital
Congratulations to the men, women and team managers who represented Wellington over the weekend at what was a very hot TECT National Sevens tournament.
The men performed well over the tournament but fell just short in closely fought cup semi final v Counties Manukau.
The women’s team finished the weekend with a win over Otago in the 7/8th place play off.
The Men’s 7s team has won through to the TECT National Sevens Cup Semifinal and will play Counties Manakau later this afternoon.
The Women’s team haven’t fared so well but will round out their weekend playing off for 7th & 8th v Otago.
Both the Men’s & Women’s teams progress through to the TECT National Sevens cup quarterfinal tomorrow after both going through 2-1 in pool play.
Wellington Men’s 7s v Hawke’s Bay
Wellington Women’s 7s v Waikato
Wishing the Men's and Women's Sevens squads all the best at the TECT National Sevens tournament.
