Wāhine Ready for Contact Rugby
Contact Ready is here to help young wāhine step into rugby with confidence. This NZ Rugby initiative is designed for girls aged 12–17 who are new to contact, teaching safe technique in tackling and key contact areas while building confidence before and during the transition into contact grades.
Delivered locally at Rugby League Park, Newtown this is a supportive, learn-first environment where players can grow their skills and feel ready for the game.
