Harbour City Chem-Dry Partner with Lions
WRFU is pleased to welcome Harbour City Chem-Dry onboard as a partner for the 2026 season with the Wellington Lions. The Chem-Dry brand will feature on the number 3 jersey as the Lions set their sights on their seventh championship title.
Managing Director Shaun Smith says, “We’re really proud to be backing the Lions and supporting a team that means so much to Wellington. As a locally owned business, our community is a big part of who we are, and we’re always happy to roll up our sleeves and help when needed, whether that’s supporting the team or helping out after the flooding at Rugby League Park.
It’s fitting we’ll be on the number 3 jersey, right up front in the thick of it. We’re looking forward to a great season and seeing what this group can achieve in 2026.”
Wellington Rugby Football Union CEO Tony Giles says, “We’re proud to welcome Shaun and the team to the Lions in 2026. Beyond their support of our Lions programme on the field, they’ve also been incredible partners behind the scenes at WRFU Headquarters at Rugby League Park. The team’s professionalism and outstanding service in restoring the lower levels following the water damage was exceptional, and we’re extremely grateful for their support.”
Chem-Dry is both New Zealand and the world's leading upholstery, carpet cleaning and flood restoration brand. Here in New Zealand, you will find our local Chem-Dry owners and their teams servicing all regions across the country.
