Burger King Back for Milestone Tenth Year

WRFU is proud to welcome Burger King back for its tenth season, continuing its valued support of both the Wellington Lions and Wellington Pride.

Since 2016, Burger King has maintained a longstanding partnership with Wellington Rugby. In 2026, the iconic Burger King brand will once again feature on the back of the Lions and Pride number 9 jerseys.

Serving flame-grilled goodness since 1954, Burger King has been a staple in the New Zealand food scene since 1993, delivering better burgers to Kiwis across the country. Their commitment to quality, community, and their ongoing support of junior rugby programmes makes them a perfect fit for Wellington Rugby.
