Women & Girls Advisory Group – Call for Nominations

Wellington Rugby is now calling for nominations to join the WRFU Women & Girls Advisory Group. This is a key initiative to support the growth, visibility and success of women and girls in rugby across the region.

The group will provide strategic advice, community insights and advocacy to ensure the needs and perspectives of women and girls are embedded in the decision-making and delivery of rugby in Wellington. Members will also help guide the implementation of a WRFU Women & Girls Action Plan.

We are looking for people who:

• Are passionate about progressing Women & Girls’ rugby in Wellington
• Can advocate for collective W&G outcomes across the region
• Bring experience or insight as a player, coach, referee, club rep or community voice

• Open to those aged 16+
• Bi-monthly meetings: first meeting on the evening of Monday 18 August
