Our BCITO Under 16 Girls team provides a competitive yet supportive environment, where young players are encouraged to develop their skills, build confidence and most importantly, enjoy the game. The programme is designed with a strong focus on growth and progression, giving athletes the foundation they need to take the next step toward higher levels of representative rugby, while also fostering a lifelong passion for the sport.

A key component of the programme is participation in the Hurricanes Youth Rugby Council (HYRC) Under 16 Girls' Camp. This annual event combines both development and competition, offering players the opportunity to learn from specialist coaches, connect with peers from across the Hurricanes region and test themselves in a challenging tournament setting. The dedicated development day ensures players not only gain valuable match experience but also build their understanding of the game, grow as athletes and strengthen the bonds of team culture.
