About #RugbyHerWay

#RugbyHerWay is an innovative new programme designed specifically for Women + Girls.

Wellington Rugby Football Union acknowledges that everybody experiences rugby in diverse ways, and have designed a programme to provide fun, non-traditional development opportunities for Women + Girls to experience rugby in their own way.

The programme is run by female activators, which not only creates new leadership pathways, but also provides opportunities for females to learn the skills to coach young girls and other women.

#RugbyHerWay highlights the ways in which Women + Girls can be involved in the game as a player, coach, official, and administrator.

This new setup will include junior girls skills sessions, junior holiday programmes, junior and secondary school development days for girls, coaching and officiating course for women only, as well as offering young leaders and management development opportunities in rugby.

Stay tuned, more to come!
