Wellington Sevens squads named for regional tournament

The Wellington men's and women's sevens squads have been named for the Regional Tournament in Levin.

Wellington men's coach Sam Rasch has included a number of experienced players and some exciting new talent in the squad.

There are some familiar names who have been involved in the Wellington Lions squad in the Mitre 10 Cup, including Kemara Hauti-Parapara, Losi Filipo and Sheridan Rangihuna.

The ultimate aim of the squad is to finish in the top four and qualify for the National Tournament in January.

Wellington women's coach Charles Aliva has also named a young and exciting squad for the weekend's tournament as they too look to qualify for the National Tournament.

Heading the list of talent in the squad is Black Fern Marcelle Parkes who has been in great form in 2018.
