Injury Resources

INJURY REPORTING

Any injury that meets the below criteria must be reported by a team representative, as well as the referee (if they were appointed to the game by the WRRA):

- Concussion or Suspected Concussion (including Blue Card)

- Any player who will be out of rugby for 3+ weeks

- Any player hospitalised due to their injury

CONCUSSION

We in partnership with NZR want to ensure that anyone involved in rugby -  players, coaches, refs and family - know what to look out for and what to do when they suspect a player has sustained a concussion.

We all have a role to play in recognizing, removing and helping to manage concussions.
