A chance to learn specifics and considerations for coaching female rugby players. Hear from those closely aligned and working in Women’s rugby. This is the first time an opportunity to focus on female players such as this has been offered in Wellington.
The aim of the Coaching Females Course is to provide coaches with the important skills, knowledge and capacity to:
Create positive learning environments for females
Understanding of considerations for female coaching practice including: Female Psychology, Female Physiology and Communication
Understand and enhance coaching pedagogy, techniques, methods and abilities relating to females
Understand the Principles of Play and roles within these to analyse and coach skills.
Provide quality technical & tactical information relating to rugby skills, mini units, units and game sense
