The aim of the Team Talk newsletter is to keep people in our region up to date with what is happening in the Wellington amateur game. As stated in this first issue:
"From junior club rugby to the Jubilee Cup, Maori rugby to referees, our aim will be to promote, enlighten and inform you – the reader. 

With so many stakeholders in our game, there is always plenty going on, whether it is a primary school tournament, junior club gala day, emerging players’ session or referees training day. We will endeavour to bring you information on all of these events as they happen.

We will keep you up to date with what’s going on in the Boardroom at Wellington Rugby, and keep you informed of the latest initiatives from down the road at the NZRU, including the recently-revamped NZrugbynet website.

We won’t have all the information at our fingertips though, so your contribution will be vital to the success of the newsletter. Tell us what’s going on in your neck of the woods and we will do our best to promote, enlighten and inform."
Team Talk goes out every three weeks during the club rugby season, and then every five weeks.
