Wellington representative teams round-up 10 October

In three representative matches involving WRFU teams played on Saturday, the Wellington Bs enjoyed a solid victory over the Taranaki Bs in their last round-robin Hurricanes Development competition match and the Wellington Colts and Wellington U19s lost to Waikato and Otago age-grade teams in non-competition games.

Representative Teams for Saturday 10 October

Wellington B and Wellington U19 are at home at Porirua Park this weekend.  The Bs take on Taranaki at 2pm in the last round robin fixture of the Hurricanes Region Development team competition while the U19s play Otago in their last game of the season.  In other games Wellington Colts are in Taihape to play Waikato U20.  Team lists are as follows:

Wellington representative teams round-up 3 October

The Wellington U18s beat the Hawke's Bay U18s 22-21 in Palmerston North on Saturday to win the 2009 Hurricanes region U18 competition.

Also at Palmerston North, the Wellington U19s lost to Hawke's Bay U20 11-35 in the final of the Hurricanes region U20 competition, while in other matches the Wellington Bs defeated the Hawke's Bay Bs 17-14 at Porirua Park in the Hurricanes region Development competition and the Wellington Colts missed out on Eden Park to Auckland U20 31-19.

Representative Teams playing 3 October

Wellington B play Hawkes Bay B at Porirua Park at 1pm, while the Colts travel to Auckland and will play the curtain raiser at Eden Park.  Good luck to the U18 and U19s who are in their respective finals in their Hurricanes competitions which will be played in Palmerston North. Team lists for this weekend are:

Wellington representative teams round-up 26 September

In a mixed bag of results for Wellington representative rugby teams on Saturday, the  Wellington U18s beat Taranaki the U18s 27-9 and the Wellington U19s drew with the Manawatu U20s 22-22 to reach their respective finals of the Hurricanes region U18 and U20 tournaments, while the Wellington Pride, Wellington Bs and Wellington Colts all met defeats in their matches.
