Both players have been sent by their club for three months to be totally immersed in New Zealand rugby. They will take full part in the Wellington Academy and WTG programme as well as full participation in the premier team of the club they have been assigned to.

Kaito Morikawa plays Centre and has been assigned to Poneke.
Koji Nakata plays 6 & 8 and has been assigned to Wests.

Their coach, Mr Tomoaki Fujimoto, is here for only 3 weeks to observe the WRFU coaching methods and experience coaches duties in New Zealand.

The Honda Heat Rugby Club is where Wellingtons own players, Rodney So'oialo and Fafili Levave, played last season.

Wellington Rugby Football Union is proud to be associated with the Honda Club and hope for a long term relationship. Please help us in welcoming these men to New Zealand and give them a great Wellington Rugby experience.
