American Ambassadors Sevens Results 2011
Wainuiomata have claimed the American Ambassadors trophy for 2011 with a 26-12 win over Oriental-Rongotai in the final at Trentham Memorial on Saturday. Â
Played in incredibly warm conditions both teams played six games in the space of five hours to reach the final which is testament
to the pre-season work that clubs have already put in. Â
In other finals played on Saturday Norths ran out 43-24 winners over Hutt Old Boys Marist in the Plate Final and Rimutaka beat Wests in the Bowl Final 22-12.
