On Friday the 13th November the annual Wellington Rugby Tui Awards Dinner will be held at the Duxton Hotel. The awards are to recognise rugby achievements in the Wellington region, and once again it was a year with plenty to celebrate.
The 2009 categories and nominees are:Referee of the Year
Awarded to the best performing Wellington referee officiating at club level and who may also be officiating at either AA Rewards Heartland Championship or Air New Zealand Cup level.
2009 Nominees:
Most Promising Player of the Year
This award recognises the player in Wellington club and/or representative rugby showing the most promise/potential during the 2009 season.

Representative Coach of the Year
Presented to recognise outstanding Representative Coaching achievement for during the 2009 season.
