Western Bays Rippa Rugby Tournament

Rippa Rugby hit the Western Bays last Tuesday 16 March with over 500 kids scorching the surface looking for the tryline.

30 teams from around Tawa, Porirua & Plimmerton jumped all over the bouncy castle while they attended the Rippa tournament which was held at Ngati Toa Domain.

Winner's on the day were

Year 7/8 category

  • Cup Section - Tairangi School Troopers
  • Plate Section - Windley School
  • Shield Section - Paremata 1 School

Year 5/6 category

  • Pool 1 - Postgate School Cobras
  • Pool 2 - Tairangi School Tornadoes
  • Pool 3 - Windley School
  • Pool 4 - Postgate School Tarantulas

A big thank you to the Porirua City Council for the use of the grounds and also the Pirates Cove for their vouchers to the kids.
