Year 3/4 Rippa Tournament held at Petone Rec
39 Schools from all over Wellington attended the Year 3/4 Rippa tournament held at Petone Rec on Monday 22 February. Over 600 kids attended the event to kick off "Rugby Awareness Week" for junior rugby in Wellington.
During the day teams played four games each which were refereed by the WRFU CCO's.
Also at the event were Captain Hurricane & Rugger. The kids chased around the park and gave them a good workout!
To add to the occasion, also at the event was the Hurricanes Zone with two big blow up bouncy castles which the kids and even some teachers went crazy jumping around on!

- Pool 1 - Karori Normal School
- Pool 2 - Hutt Central School
Pool 3 - Ngaio School - Pool 5 - Te Ara Whanui Kura Kaupapa Maori School
- Pool 6 - Wellesley School
- Pool 7 - Sacred Heart Petone School
- Pool 8 - Churton Park School
