Wellington Junior rugby are happy to confirm the recommitment of 6 more junior convenors amongst our junior clubs for the 2012 season.
In the Hutt Valley Gary Crawford (Eastbourne), Ross McLachlan (Hutt Old Boys Marist), Jimmy Millar (Wainuiomata) all return to lead their junior sections.
In the City Alistair Forde (Old Boys-University), John Mears (Oriental Rongotai) & Jonathon Bacon (Wellington) stick to their roles for 2012.
This is great continuity from these clubs to have these guys continue and most of these guys are looking at grooming the next person within their clubs to take over in the future.
In most cases the junior convenor is the face and contact point at their clubs. They all have a great group of people on their committee just keen at getting our kids running around the rugby field.
