CLUB COACHING COORDINATOR AND SENIOR COACHES 2013

Poneke Football Club was founded in 1883 and is one of New Zealand's great traditional rugby clubs. Competitive on the field with a culture of excellence in all things rugby, we are family-oriented off the field with our strapline fitting us perfectly - "You don't just play, you belong".

The Poneke Football Club seeks a Club Coaching Coordinator (CCO) and welcomes Senior Coach applications for the 2013 season.

The stated purpose (WRFU Position Profile) of the CCO role is "To increase the number and quality of coaches as well as build a bridge between school and club rugby". As a Senior Coach you will need to provide us with your record of successfully coaching teams, confirm how you will demonstrate your ability to fit into the Club's ethos and be a part of maintaining the Club's proud position in club rugby.

Applicants for both the CCO and Senior Coach roles are expected to have a range of competencies, including excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, ability to establish credibility and relate to players, coaches, administrators, parents and educators, exceptional communications skills including presentations and public speaking, skilled at conflict resolution, hard working, and be happy at working as part of a team. Report writing and computer skills are also important, particularly for the CCO role.
